Interstitial Story Elements and Feedback

I was responsible for overseeing the creation of the Interstitial Cut Scene Artwork. Working with an outsourcing team, I provided feedback to correct and unify all of the artwork sent out. The following are some examples of how I provided actionable feedback for our partners.
Character Concept Art Direction

The below images are from the early stages of creating concept art for our in-game models. We kept the concepts simple and pretty straightforward. In-game, the models would never appear very big (3rd Person elevated view). After about halfway through, we switched outsource vendors due to the Russian Invasion of Ukraine and you can see the final two images are very painterly. We decided to proceed with this team because they were fast and available at the time. Thanks to our clearly established guidelines adapting the concepts were fairly easy for our 3d Artists.
