In order to make our game look and feel like the modern, Daniel Craig Bond films, as per our Eon partners, I was tasked with exploring color LUTs (Look Up Tables) and how to create possible hi-contrast/Noir-like scenes within our game and storytelling elements.
So in an effort to clearly communicate our intentions with our IP partners and upper management, I created an info-graphic demonstrating the thought process and how we would apply it in-engine.
Our engineers at Pixelbyte implemented the LUTs for us and the game was, when I last saw it, looking pretty darn spiffy.
