Living Classics: Vector Art and composition.
For Amazon, the first game they produced was Living Classics, I was a Character Illustrator/Concept Artist for the game. I had to create the characters in Illustrator, color flat them, and break them up for animation. It was a fairly front-loaded process, but you do what you gotta do! I really enjoyed this style and this scene, based on Greek Mythology
This is a fairly complete breakdown of the typical process, from initial sketches to the back and forth with other artists, animators, and the Art Director, and finally the final product.

For the final image, I did the character vector work, which involved the line-work, flat colors, and breaking them up into animation-ready pieces. The final shading and colors were provided by Lawrence Ruelos and animations were by Tony Ravo and Katie Orcutt.
